FOR FRIZZY HAIR

You can use Aloe Vera to treat frizzy hair, It is the simplest technique you can use to tame frizzy hair and above all, it doesn’t need any extra time. Aloe Vera is great for your hair. It is rich in protein, mineral and Vitamins which helps to nourish your hair and makes it smooth and shiny. It also has antiviral and antifungal properties which makes it useful to prevent dandruff, It contain proteolytic enzymes which heal and repair damaged hair cells, something to look forward to.

You will find a huge difference in your hair within a month, your hair will be smoother, softer and manageable. I really like this way of using Aloe Vera because it doesn’t require any extra effort and that’s a boon for a mother :D.

FOR SKIN MOISTURIZER

You can use Aloe Vera as a skin moisturizer. It is a natural moisturizer with vitamin C and E in it which helps in the nourishment of your skin. It has an anti-inflammatory and cooling property which helps to reduce sunburn , Regular use of Aloe Vera will lighten dark spots, pigments and gives you clearer and even tone skin.

HOW TO USE :- You can use Aloe Vera in three different ways

  1. Take 1tsp Aloe Vera gel with 2tsp of raw milk, mix it well together. Apply this solution all over your face, massage it for good 2-3 min, then rinse it off with water. This Cleanser helps to clean your face without leaving it dry. It is best suitable for dry skin type. I already discussed  the benefits of using raw milk on the skin in my previous blog, you can check HERE.
  2. You can use Aloe Vera gel as a massage gel. After washing your face with your regular face wash, Apply Aloe Vera gel on your skin, massage gently and leave it for 5 mins. After 5 mins you can wash it off and proceed to your next step.
  3. Use Aloe Vera gel as a face serum. Face serums are lightweight moisturizers that penetrate deeper into your skin to deliver its benefits. Mix 2tsp of Aloe Vera gel with 1tsp of olive oil. Apply it after washing your face with your regular face wash and leave it overnight. Next day morning you will experience a soft, supple skin. You can also add lemon to this mixture if you want a treatment for skin blemishes.

FOR HAIR OILING

Aloe Vera hair oil promotes hair growth, maintain ph. level of the scalp and helps in reducing dandruff. It also helps to make hair shinier and healthier. You can not go wrong with this hair oil because Aloe Vera itself has plenty of benefits for skin and hair and we already know, coconut oil is best for hair.

HOW TO USE :- You can buy Aloe Vera hair oil from the market but better to make it at home. To make this oil you will need

  • Aloe Vera leave
  • coconut oil/ Olive oil

Take Fresh Aloe Vera leaf and wash it properly. Remove the thorns on both sides of leave and cut it into small pieces. Add this pieces into 1/2 cup of coconut oil. Put the vessel on a double boiler and heat it for 10-15 mins with occasional stirring. Stain the oil into a dark bottle and voila!! your homemade Aloe Vera oil is ready.

Apply this oil twice a week at least 2 hrs before washing your hair. I prepare my oil by this procedure, but you can definitely try any other method you like.

This is all I wanted to share with you guys. Of course, you can use Aloe Vera in many other ways but I find these techniques to be easy and less time-consuming. Being a mother of a toddler I don’t get much time to pamper myself, thus I always look for simple yet effective remedies which I can include in my skincare and haircare. If you also don’t get plenty of time, try these methods to pamper yourself and let me know in comments about your experience.

I hope you liked this blog and if you do please like, share and subscribe.
